POINTS TO REMEMBER WHEN USING MULTIMEDIA

1.    Keep water and other liquids away from electrical equipment and switches.

2.    Ensure equipment has been routinely inspected/tested/tagged as per safety management policies.

        Visually inspect equipment before use, remove/isolate any damaged, frayed or faulty items. Follow

        library policies regarding reporting of repairs/replacements.

3.   Keep work area uncluttered - reorganise area to limit the amount of bending, twisting and

      stretching. 

4.   Practice good posture and lifting techniques to reduce the likelihood of injury.  Use mechanical

      aids where possible (trolley).  Carry equipment within acceptable limits, close to your body,

      and lifting with your thigh muscles.
